Mission Trip to Guatemala
June 9-17, 2017
Ever dreamed of going on a mission trip to experience a new culture and help those less fortunate? Here’s your chance! Mi Refugio is a Christian mission school located just outside Guatemala City that serves over 200 children and their families, offering education, healthy meals, medical/dental care and the opportunity for a better life, all in the name of Christ. The founder of Mi Refugio is from Rockville, and numerous St. Andrew members and friends have served there over the years, some more than once! This time, our St. Andrew group will be led by Bruce, Sarita, & Gavi Winter, who have served twice before. No special skills are required, but medical, dental, computer, sewing, baking, construction and/or Spanish language skills are helpful. The trip is open to all, but space is limited! Get details and express interest by contacting Global Mission Chair Stan Jackson at firstname.lastname@example.org or Bruce & Sarita Winter at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org. Prayerfully consider serving at Mi Refugio. It’s a special experience you’ll never forget!
